Optics for FX Pantehra around to 1000eur (1100-1200) dollars

Hello all,
Im using right now a Vector Minotaur 12-60x60 but its image mostly on higher magnification is pretty milky and dark. I have a power fetish so not really want to buy anything with power under 30. What are the best price/value scopes for a FX Dynamic up to 1000 (slightly over OK if its a good deal) euro price tag?
Doesnt needs to be a FFP but if yes its great. Im checking to Vector Continental 5-30x56 and Hawke Frontier 5-30x56.
Which one is the better or do you have a recommendation for another bether candidate?

Thank you

I can recommend a Falcon X50 10-50x60, have not check the price lately but it shall fit your bill from Krales Netherlands.
I had a chance to compare it to several same power Sightrons in my club, and - sorry Sightron folks - the X50 beats all of them at full power.
I shoot 100 meters BR and I zoom in fully into center.
I have not seen a Sightron that can keep a clarity beyond 45 and at the full 50 power it is a joke for the money.
And btw my long time hobby is photography, I know exactly what is a difference between a glass and the glass.
For the money only a prime lens = fixed power can beat the X50

The most expensive scopes out there start to dim out by 40x. My March Genesis does this and also my March HM 5-42x56 did this starting at 35x.

Nope neither that Vector nor the Hawke are going to pull off 30x well because of the level of glass and build quality in them. I have that same Continental and the IQ/Image Quality is the worst thing about the scope.

The best glass I've seen for the price as far as high magnification is the Athlon Ares ETR 15-60x56. It's very impressive and is just barely behind my March Genesis 4-40x52 in IQ and is so nice it holds its own against my S&B PM2 5-25x56 with both at 25x.
The IQ in the ETR at 40x is very nice but past that the image is starting to get dim just like any other rifle scope would.

Another high end one with stellar IQ is the March HM 10-60.

Those fixed 36 power S3 Sightrons also have excellent IQ and that is a good power to be at for target work. Would I rather have a variable for anything but benchrest, YES.

I tend to stay in the 35x magnification range for BR because the image is still bright and also IQ hasn't diminished yet due to dimming. Also the more magnification that is used the more mirage and air particulates are exaggerated which decrease the apparent clarity.

Because you said you prefer FFP, I’ll start by saying that it is hard to find really good quality FFP at 30xor higher for under $1100 (1000 euros). Also, not sure what you can have exported to you, so that could cause some issues with some better sales in the US or even buying used…

There are some higher quality scopes around 30x here in the states at used prices, but not really at new prices. The Athlon ETR FFP scope goes to 30x, but I wouldn’t recommend you spend what you are looking to spend on it.

That is why you see everyone mentioning the SFP scopes they are mentioning. You can get better deals on quality stuff in SFP than you can in FFP in those higher magnifications. When I want a higher magnification, I usually use SFP for the cost savings.

I agree that the Falcon is good for the money, and should be available in your area.

"Doesnt needs to be a FFP but if yes its great."
Hoped this describes that i dont really tied to FFP. Ofc im preferring if it fits to budget and worth it but not necessary as i told. :)

Unfortunately Athlon in europe and EU i cant find much of them and (maybe) due to import costs they are much higher with price than in US and they are going much out from my budget :/
Sorry I was in hurry living from home I didn't finished earlier my sentence.
You in Slovakia, right? You shall have way better quality optics at your place or 500 Km drive radius.
Just because you see here @ AGN always repeating the same name Brands that not necessarily means any better, these Brands are popular only in US ... The forum is US based and the ordinary members - I don't know maybe 90-95% all homegrown. This market (talking optics now) is flooded with rebranded Chinese scopes. I am not commenting if these any good or bad, but if I want to by Chines I go directly to Chinese to talk about buying things.
Look around better for suppliers in EU, you may get much higher quality glass for the money.

and so on

Yes i do. I know these suppliers but i have no clue what would be the best choice from their offer. :)

As I said earlier Krale for example is a very good rated supplier, not the cheapest but they have a huge and better quality selection. Me personally (from Canada) purchased several times from them vs US suppliers that playing by the book too much stupid ITAR. As an end user can't comment further for my money, Canada and US are first neigbours but still somebody is playing the "export regulations" game. In my eyes the Brands from US you mentioned earlier doesn't justify the ticket price. I am a EU background so I don't use the patriotic standpoint to proof myself.
I have the Falcon X50 which is an incredible Japanese glass for the money, the 10-50 zoom is sharp and clear (clarity) for the entire range. it is rated for long range sniper, for less then $1000 if you have time to catch it. It is rated 1000 meters and for airguns 100-200-300 meters works wonders.
I am shooting BR in a gun club and I can zoom in x50 power all the way to rings and I can see the hole edges how the pellets/slugs tears the paper. You maybe don't need that power, but the Japanese glass is impressive anyway, of course the next up you will put you in a german glass quality - this much for consumer use price point.
I am not trying to convince you , it is your money....
