Guys here's a quick video I hope will explain optical center to those a little unsure what its all about .
Tom has an Excellent video about how to obtain optical center , this one more shows the drawbacks of a scope that's out of center .

One thing to consider, if you use a scope cam, is it is more crucial to be optically centered to help achieve focal and field of view alignment through your camera, eyepiece and objective lense...I've played with this and without.
