Optic Suggestions

As mentioned elsewhere I have a TX200HC on order. I intend to use the rifle for pesting and small game hunting but I also am considering trying to do some field target with it. It is a .177. I'm not sparing expense on this one but I don't want to go drop two grand on a March or some such so forget that. I am weight sensitive. I would like an optic that would do proper service to the platform. So, you serious FTT guys, what would you hang on this rifle given I am a noob anyway. I figure hunter class is where I am going to land if I finally manage to find a place to shoot with other people.

Thanks

Mike

Thank you Lewis, I looked around and settled on this:

Seems they are made in the same factory that builds Nightforce scopes. Couldn't pass up the 50% off...

I got that optic in the mail today. Midway doesn't fool around on shipping. It is true what they say, "All you have to do is look through one." Crystal clear, sharp reticle, brilliant focus, no fuzz, no halos, just good glass. Click stops are more positive than my SWFA scopes. Turrets are larger and have a better feel. Good stuff.

Anyone got experience with this brand on spring rifles? They hold up ok, I hope?

They are excellent scopes and made in Japan with a lifetime warranty I wouldn't worry too much mounting it on a Springer as long as the rings are lapped and properly torqued.

The 4-20x version smokes pretty much just about anything under $1200.00. You WILL see the optical difference comparing it to the SWFA SS which really ain't all that IMHO.

It's likely a brother or close cousin to the $1000.00 Brownells labeled one.
