Opinions welcome

I get an RTI! That said, I got no use for something that weighs more than it needs to....I want light as possible, after all, we ain't talking about a light weight powder burner....You'd better do some investigating.I also like Brocock. Many choices in many price ranges
Yes it's not easy deciding who gets your hard earned dollar. Thank you for your input.

I agree. A gen 1 RTI Prophet is one of the best hunting platforms that has come out in recent years. Stupid simple to tune, robust design for field work, gobs of power on tap and accurate CZ and LW barrels. I have a compact Gen 1 .22 that is my main hunting gun for squirrels. The Mora is a great gun but it is NOT a hunting platform. Its a bench gun due to the weight.

I've had many somewhere great and some sucked. I'm not a bull pup guy but a lot of guys like them for hunting. I would go 25 Lol I've hunted with all the calibers up to 30 and 25 to me is probably the best all-around caliber for small game hunting. I will never harvest large animals or I mean big game with an air rifle one because it's not legal in my state and I have better options . PCP's can get expensive. The problem with the cheaper ones and I have some notos and I used to have an avenge X is they usually shoot pretty decent cause the barrel is not bad but the machine work everything else, trigger are little rough and not the best quality. The problem with high-end PCP's the machining the parts the material of those parts is of higher quality and better workmanship but sometimes the barrels suck. Sometimes it's luck of the draw on how well your barrel shoots.. most of the time whether it's in powder burners rim fires air rifles you're at the mercy of the barrel manufacturer and their quality control. find the gun, the caliber you like and you're gonna have to try different pellets to see what your barrel likes. I'm not into slugs. So I can't help you much on that department. But like I tell everyone shoot what puts a smile on your face and you enjoy. all of us given our opinion here is just that our opinion and you asked for it and some of these guys have years of air gun hunting experience much more than I ever have and I would listen.

For a gun that you plan on being in the field a lot w you probably are going to want to go w something a bit more on the durable & ~100% reliable side too.

I love the looks of the Slash & mostly would like to have one for the build quality of owning another but different Taipan. But I wouldn't want to subject my Veteran to average hunting conditions so would probably feel the same about a Slash...if I had one. Maybe some gentle small game or possibly sitting in a blind. But probably not if I were after anything that bleeds.

My brother has an M3 (.22 @ 55fpe) and two U2’s (.25 @ 75fpe and .30 @ 110fpe) all are 700mm. Both are equally accurate out to 100 yards and beyond but the AGT wins hands down for hunting purposes. Way more rugged and durable. No worries about poi shift from the accidental bump of the barrel while walking through the woods throwing your poi off by several inches at 100 yards. The Uragan2/3 is an out of the box, hard hitting, accurate, relatively quiet without a mod, slug gun with a solid barrel. It doesn’t require an upgraded grip, hammer weights, pin probe, barrel tensioner or cf sleeve, moderator…..nothing! Why you ask??? Because it already comes from the factory with those upgrades! Good luck with whatever you pick, they’re all going to shoot great with proper ammo.
