Opinions on top all around Bullpup

one feature I'd require in any bullpup is a cocking mechanism forward, like the FX Guns have. Any time you must reach to the rear of the gun to cock, it's unnatural. With the Impact (and Wildcat), cocking is very natural, and incredibly simple.

I agree 100%. Any other type of cocking lever other than that placement near the trigger seems odd to me now. I also had a .25 Taipan Veteran and loved it but couldn't get past the rear cocking lever. I presently own a .25 Wildcat Mk1 I bought recently here from a member and the cocking action is butter smooth. LOVE IT

If you want a good shot count you basically have 1) Bobcat 2) Impact 3) EdGun.

There may be other lower quality options that I’m missing.

I’d probably pick the Impact from the three.

Sir, I am curious on shot counts on a 30 cal. I am ignorant to these FX and Edgun models, so I’m assuming they are regulated? In a 30 cal, regulated, what is considered a good shot count and at what FPS average?

Just so you have an idea of my knowledge base, I have a 25 cal synrod that’s regulated, and seems the average everyone, strives for a 40 shot count at 40 fpe. So, to me, that’s 40shots at around 860 fps. That’s all I know on a 25 cal, but on a 30, what is considered a good average shot count?

thenk you, and hopefully my questions answered will assist the OP in his tread

They’re all regulated.

The Bobcat can get 40 shots on a fill shooting the 44.75gr at 75 FPE.

The Edgun R5 comes in different lengths although they are limited editions. They are single shot only. My long version could get 48-50 shots with the same pellet at 75 FPE

The Impact can come with a 600mm or 700mm barrel. I’ve never owned one but they can get a lot of shots at 75 FPE, thinking 40 with the 600mm barrel. The longer barrel enables more shots at the same power or more power, you choose what you’d like to tune it for.
