Hatsan 95 .(25 cal) Spring Version Brand new out of the box.

12 Yards, semi rested.

Brand new first few shots out of the box with no adjustments. The FTT seems to be something it likes but this was literally it’s first few shots out of the box and it’s fairly dead on.

With time and experience with this gun I am confident to get these groups pretty tight out to 25 yards with open sights.

I think so. I got a qe vortex 95 .22 does ok with cphp . 2 things wirh it was real dirty barrel. Took a few good cleanings getting what i can out each time between shooting with brush and solvent. The next the seal was pretty nicked after about a 1000 shots it got smoking and lots of fliers. Heres a picture..

Fantastic, I can barely reach out to 50 yards and my eyes are not so good any longer. Now the OP said no peeps, I have or am in the process of changing all of my air guns that will accomadate iron sight to peeps, more fun than scopes plus they just handle better. I just got a pair of HW 57's a .177 and a .22 and they are just about perfect for a light rifle sofar as handling goes. I am awaiting an Anschutz diopter to put on a big Diana 54 AirKing Pro when it gets here. The only ones remaining with scopes will be an Air Arms 200tx and ProSport along with a HW97kt and a HW 98

I got no issue making your bullseye so you can see it best. For me 1-1/2" works out to 50 but , normally 2-1/2 " like that snuff can lid above i use at 50 ( i got plenty of them to shoot at). Then i also use 3" cphp tins ( plenty of them as well..lol). Paint black and put on white cardboard ,then shoot em up...
This is not a comp, score or challange thing just how and what you get in groups at a range all i ask here is irons and honest.. / plinking fun. From a red ryder to ??? Alls good..

I know what factory sights are, i just wanted to know what i asked.

Also i was shooting my RX2 using it's factory open sights and wanted to if the tapered front sight post, the one that's thinner on top, is better than the squared one? And which rear leaf option to use since it has four of them to choose from. Thanks in advance

To the first thing you said ... Just start a thread not hijack one.

Shoot each combo of notches to posts and post you groups. They all have there use . Me the lolly in the U notch is most accurate. But thats me. Its a you buy lots of pellets and cut lots of cardboard squares with a crayon bullseye and shoot , shoot ,shoot.. to find whats best for you.

I don't think that it's considered hijacking when asking questions. It is a a forum of learning. But moving forward i did start a new post in regards to my inquiry.

Thank you

Im not mad or anything , but this is to post open sight groups for fun. So shoot somthing and post it on what its about. ( Gun , range, pellet used, ). Nt so much for a question in general unless it about the group you posted . Like...

I started sighted in for 50y this morning and was a bit left seems 2 click a bit too much so went back one . Seeing the wind was shifting lightly right to left kinda pushes a .177 more then a .22. from more dead on from wind yesterday.. ( or im more cross eyed first thing today)

Then of course the one...lol. Count on crosman flyer up there .😉.

Whats the click value on a air gun sight
( Should be 1/10mm at 10m) should be..

R9, cphp.177, 50y, opensight, 1-1/2" ( maybe 1-1/4?) bulls

MoRon, when you are shooting, what is your open factory sight setup?

Figured i use the po'ol gamo ( pictured above) first thing this morning first cup , first try at 50y.. i guess the morning sand in my eyes has me a bit low. Maybe after another pot or 2 ill retry . The caffeine may boost me "up" some.

Gamo ,50y, cphp.22, opensight, 1-1/2" bulls ( not 1-1/4 lol)

gamo.22first50y.jpg

Maybe a click or 2 then more coffee?
