First match started out really windy but it suddenly got better - for awhile. Second match aye yai yai it got so switchy most of us couldn't keep up with the changes. But some did.

Ardey Vad took N50 high match score & Bob Sofsky took USARB high match score.

Thanks for posting these. I do enjoy viewing them! Good to see the pellet rifles getting close and sometimes surpassing rimfire!

Fuss, look at the Sportsman vs Pellet scores, they are tracking with pellets leading. This was completely unexpected. It may be getting tougher as other dust off their old Kimbers, 40xs, M52, & others. But pellets will catch up as we are allowed to move into their territory

Lou, I noticed Ardey Vad shot Sportsman and Pro, but two different rifles. I've never shot rimfire and not familiar with the classes, but yes pellets were doing extremely well against Sportsman class rimfire.

Hey Jim, Compare the Sportsman & Pro equipment list from the Nationals.

All the top Pro guns are customs or commercial (Anschutz) with tuners. Sportsman are any over the counter commercial 22s eg Savage, Tikka, Anschutz (w/o tuner) with factory barrels. 

Here are a few examples, both are ex-factory rifles made PRO by the addition of custom barrels and added tuners. 

N50 rules are pretty open so any shooter can join in mostly unrestricted; and you can move "up" into class as I did with my pellet gun in Sportsman.

Ardey shot N50 his 1st time at Raton. To qual for the 3 match-agg he was short 1 match each. At Open Grove he shot his 3rd match. So these match scores will move him up in both Sportsman & Pro. I think he is on the hunt for an AG now.

Thanks Lou, maybe I'll find another shooter nearby with a desire to do this. I had one, but he moved to Virginia.
