thats one of those dammit moments .. i was sighting in a scope with a box target in the yard one time and hit my garden hose that was laying across the lawn maybe 20 30 yards behind it, those thing aint cheap these days, i was pissed lol ...
My shooting bench is by the garage wall....the drain spout is next to the kitchen door...from there we have just hills...I always tell my wife not to use the kitchen door when I'm shooting...
That is funny...industry standard...mine were run at my home off the guys truck...he would measure...run out to his truck and come back with a spout...
Won’t post a photo, too embarrassed, but had a similar accident. I was shooting at a distance between spindles of the deck railing, but they’re contoured. Seems I was looking through the scope near the skinny part, but the barrel was aimed at the fat part. Split the side of the spindle away- No more using the bench tripod from the deck table allowed at my house...
I tried to shoot a squirrel off my bird feeder with a wrist rocket and ball bearing ......glanced off the feeder and through the garage door window, it was well worth the pane of glass for the entertainment value. I’m really glad no cars were wounded during the event.
