I bought a Vortex Golden Eagle 15 - 60x and I was very impressed with the scope. One day at work I was waiting for starlings to land on the fence. While I was scanning around I noticed this hornet or what I believe is a hornet landing on the fence. It took about 1 second to decide this would be a really cool shot on scope cam if I can make the hit. Shot distance is roughly 55 yds with scope power set at the upper end close to 60x. I have the fence ranged so I can get shots off quickly on the starlings but I forgot if this was the 50 or 55 yd fence post. Either way I think its an impressive shot. Look closely and you will see the white dot left on the end of the post where the pellet hit. You can also see the pellet ricochet upwards off the end of the post. Again thanks for watching.
