HW/Weihrauch One out, one left to sell and one incoming. That's my last air rifle. For real this time.

"Wildly" is putting it mildly!

When I first got my P1 back in the 80's (OMG am I really that old), I sighted it in using a pellet trap in my garage. When I switched from high to low power, I couldn't find the corresponding holes In the target paper...because the pellets were embedded in the wall beyond, having passed completely over the top of the trap...!
Yeah low power shoots like 6" higher than high power on mine. And that's at ten yards. Mine missed the whole pellet trap the first time I tried low power. IMO is a useless feature. I'm not even sure there's enough elevation adjustment to accommodate it at typical pistol (close) ranges.

I have a .177 P1 and never use the low power for reasons outlined above.

I have shot many many thousands of rounds thru it. And can attest it takes a while to be able to shoot it with any reasonable degree of accuracy. Currently it has an ARH “arctic spring” and the factory spring guide which i reversed to put on the other end of the spring. This costs a few FPS, but makes the gun cock and shoot smoother. Also have the Beeman combat grips which makes it much more comfortable to shoot. Too bad these don’t come standard on these, especially at the price they sell for.

Edit: anyone ever wear out the piston seal in one of these? Mine has been going strong since 1995.
