One of the nicest factory walnut stocked Springers I’ve ever owned

I just sold this rifle, it’s an RWS model 48 with a factory walnut stock. The walnut is high-grade at least grade 3. It has cherry accents on the pistol grip and the forend tip. It has a absolutely cut basket weave pattern checkering. It’s been tuned. It shoots 14 Grain JSB at 800 ft./s very accurately. The trigger is to die for. The recoil is negligible snd the shot cycle is extremely smooth.

The target was shot from 50 yards five shots.

I would guess it is approximately a 20-year-old rifle. They don’t make them like this anymore. That stock would add at least $300 to the cost. A nicer a much more expensive piece of wood plus the foreign tip and the grip cap labor.

Finally got home and had some time to open this rifle and shoot it this afternoon! It's in remarkable shape, looks great, and shoots even better. Flintsack was awesome to work with, the rifle was shipped fast and packaging was excellent! I'm stoked that we were able to work out a trade and make this happen. Thank you Sir!

That's one beautiful scope eating, hard hitting rifle and I've never seen a piece of wood like that on a RWS48/52 or RWS45 in my life. BTW-- I've never seen them all any way.
