I don't have a dog in this fight but...

If we are talking combat pistol craft two hands is going to rule the day most of the time. That's a PB world thing though. A wise man would not take a BB gun to a gunfight he would be better off with a hand full of rocks or a sling shot perhaps. Although some of the new semi-autos ... naw...

Shooting with one hand is the most elegant way to shooting a target pistol. It takes a lot of practice and skill to learn it. 10M air pistol doesn’t need to be dumbed down. Learn to do it. There are plenty of two hand pistol disciplines out there.

I shoot my air pistols (IZH46M, Diana 6M, P17, 2300S, 2240XL) with two hands.
DITTO my PB hunting pistols.
My Colt Trooper .357 and Ruger P85 9mm are always shot with one hand.
Why?
They are used for home defense.
The other hand holds a flashlight held at arms length…

I have always liked to change things up, shooting with two hands and one hand. With some pistols I'll even try shooting with left hand.
