.30 Cal.

Uragan, Vulcan 3 long, Evanix, Daystate Renegade, Vulcan 2 Tactical, or another one comfortable for you, but accurate with as much shots per fill as possible.

You will be in excess for doves, but adequate for medium size like coyote and javalina.

Another alternative would be a Wolverine HP or a Vulcan 3 long both in .25 Cal shooting the JSB 34 grains at almost 57 foot pounds energy.

In fact, it would be much more efficient in all aspects to have only two rifles:

- A .30 Cal for all purpose that you can know and control perfectly; and

- A Big bore for deer hunting.

Those mice and cricket hunters will defend the .177.... I do agree that a .30 Cal is to much energy for a cricket.

Yesterday I had a hunting with shots mainly longer than 100 yards.

I am constantly shooting with all my rifles. Not all have the same drop.

I am certain that using the same rifle for 99% (1% or less is the big bore need) of personal shooting should give much better results.

The Vulcan 3 long in .30 Cal is my project and bet.
