Omega vs Great White 100 cu. ft. tanks

l am using the great white and have no complaints, and I like being able to see the pressure inside the tank rather then just line pressure.

I JUST got the Omega, with two upgraded gauges and quick connects. No experience with it yet, but it looks like it will suit my needs.

I have an Omega 100 cu. ft. And my dad has a Great White 97 cu. ft. Both tanks are good. His is nice that you can see the tank pressure. But I have no complaints about my Omega.

Omega is less expensive. You can see the pressure in tank by getting $10 dead head for your foster end. Not worth the $ Brancato charges for second gauge.
With the money you you save by going with Omega, you can buy a tank carrier strap, bottom boot, and feet all off Amazon or eBay for 1/2 of what he’ll charge you. Don’t bother with the netting “tank protector”. That stuff was designed for aluminum tanks so they don’t make noise when stored next to each other on dive boats. Use a neoprene sleeve.
And dont forget, you’ll be charged 1-3% by Brancato regardless of how you pay.
Have you considered an Air Hog? Same Carlton Industries tank as JB just set up differently. Priced between the two. I like the angled gauge. Just a thought.

I would take a good look at air hog. I bought their armored microbore hose and I am really impressed.
I had had to get a new one due to my original one kinking from the tank rolling over. My new hose looks much sturdier and less likely to bend. Time will tell though.

With this original post being nearly 6 years old now, I was curious what has changed between these 2 tanks, or how opinions have developed. Currently I'm leaning more towards the Great White but have to admit I'm a tad ignorant on the Omega. What do you guys think?
