Omega trail charger?

I returned mine and bought a Yong Heng, 6.8 liter tank w/valve, rolling cart, and output filters for less than I spent on the Trail Charger. Been happy with the Yong Heng. I also noticed that Airgun Depot stopped selling them very shortly after I returned mine. I have read good things about other Omega compressors. Maybe it was just the one I got - I have read of one other person that was happy with thiers.

Advice is cheap and in the end it is your decision but... IMO all of the 12 volt units are best used for just for filling guns only. I'm sure there are some who use them otherwise but they just don't appear to be that robust, again this is just my opinion. The Omega air charger weighs almost 70 lbs, while the trail charger is only about 30 lbs. It does cost more but not much over your $1000 mark. Bigger and heavier usually equates to longer service. I've owned one for well over two years and it's worked flawlessly. I only fill my guns, but I wouldn't hesitate to fill a tank with it. The water cooling works very well and the unit can run for hours if necessary, unlike the portable unit.

While some people have good results with YH, many others have had issues, including catastrophic failure.
