Omega Tank Fill Valve Options

I may have solved this. I took the offending valve apart and lightly lubed the 0 rings. Works MUCH easier. I had to remove some metal to clear the gauge.

I have wondered about the in line valves. I see BEST has them. That little bit of lub on those 0 rings made a 100% improvement. It was getting to the point that I almost could not depress the value under pressure.

I really did not want to spent a couple hundred bucks on something I had already paid for once.

Hope this helps others. I used a dremel tool and cut that button narrow enough to clear. Now there is another design flaw. At some time or another those 0 rings will leak and have to be removed and if you don't clearance the button you would have to remove the gauge. That may or may not be difficult but you should not have to do that .
