Omega clean air filter

I just bought one off the classifieds for my Omega Aircharger. I’ve only used it an hour or so but it seems to be working great.

I bleed off the moisture every 5 mins of pumping but I would still see water droplets on my quick connect. Now it’s nice and dry.

The Omega filter looks just like the gold Tuxing ones you see all over online for $80-120. It’s most likely Chinese made just like the Tuxing. I felt a little better buying one that comes from a reputable place like AOA.

I’ve seen a few post of people receiving gold “Tuxing” filters that were really thin walled and clearly not rated for 4500psi. Could be a dangerous situation if you don’t know what your looking at. I didn’t want to waste my time try to find a decent one on Amazon or Alibaba.

An added bonus with the Omega filter, it comes with a very nice micro bore hose. They sell just the hose on AOA for $60.

I have seen the pictures and posts about some of the gold filters splitting open also and don’t really want to be around if that happens. That is why I am looking at other options.

You have seen pictures and posts of one filter that supposedly broke in two cleanly down the length. It was claimed that it split down the seams. 1, the gold filters don't have seams. 2, When vessels fail they don't burst down a straight line at opposite sides. The picture that you are referring to was an obvious attempt to sow seeds of doubt into the minds of people that don't understand. You may ask why would anybody go to the trouble to make such mischief? Perhaps the cheaper option is eating away their profits. Beware of salespeople that claim that their product is superior because it is made locally and if you use anything from Asia you will be putting your life at risk. It ain't necessarily so.
