OK,
I'm done with this air omega charger. I've been told the parts are coming for almost a year now.
I'm throwing the whole thing into the trash. Its failed me twice or more now and I cant get the proper parts.
I would advise anyone looking at OMEGA chargers to be careful. It looks like the newer designs have the have a similar
inner piston design. The support was OK at first but was failing from the Factory and not Todd.
I'm going back to a shoebox compressor. At least it still works and I have a lot of spare parts till a solid compressor
shows up.
I've heard the same thing - Use the Omega compressors regularly (at least monthly) for longest service life.Apparently problems arise when these compressors aren't used often enough. I saw a utbe video about an Omega failimg to build pressure. The head tech guy, Todd? said The orings and seals can get dry from not running enough. The start up after sitting too long ruins the seal. The recommendation is to run it at least twice a momth up to 300bars. Plug the whip, run it to 300bar, bleed, cool and shut er off at least 2 times every month. The Omega's that are worked the hardest seem to last the longest.
