Diana OldVet gets a TWO FIFTY. IN .22

An OldVet review of his new Diana 250.
It came today , at 1:30 PM on this Saturday afternoon with the outside temperature at 104. I started with a barrel cleaning , and removed the pasty gunk from barrel.
The wood was very dry , so in the the process of removing the stock to add some Tung Oil I realized do not try to remove the plastic trigger guard it is pressed in very tight just remove screws , and lift action out of stock.
Put on an oily coat of Tung Oil with a scope cleaning cloth then let it soak in for a few minutes then wiped excess with a napkin. Came out nice. The ad said adjustable trigger although there were no external screws to do any adjustments, so I left that alone I was not going to disassemble the trigger housing to make an adjustment even if there is one ? I oiled the the linkage with silicone oil at all the contact points then put it back together. I mounted the scope a Hawke 3 x 9 x 40 on some high rings as the front fiber sight was leaving a shadow in my scope with lower rings. I used the hold at the balance point taught to me by coastal drifter in "Springer shooting technique" post. Which worked very well. Using my Crosman 14.3g premier HP pellets. This little 250 gas ram was very hard to cock , but I managed to sight it in at 4:30 PM now 107 out. Hey I was in the shade in the backyard. It was the mosquitoes that drove me back inside not the heat.
I did Chrony 1 pellet a 18.13g at 718.3 fps the very first shot from this rifle.
It was a fun day OV.
Will post some pics soon.
Edit: Unable to post pics will need to get a file manager that work's here. When I press Attach files it goes to my drive instead of files , and that is a dead end.

The 250 does have a anti bear trap safety , and it looks like Diana is going to move things back to Germany , so in the near future these will be German made $200 + Tariff $100 = $300 + , or so maybe ?.
Where did you read that at ?

Id like to check thet announcement or article out ..

Turns out that what I read about this subject seems to hype. I can't remember where I read that , but I did as OldVet don't make stuff up like this no need just got Whamboozeled by someone.
Notice my use of booze in that word lol.

+3. Most folks are going to use a little moly on those joints. Congrats on the new rifle.
Thanks I can tell you my 350 magnum with the 12 fpe spring is way more easy to cock. To keep it open after I smack the end to get to crack open I have to pump it slightly a few times then it makes a click , and stays open long enough to get it in cocking position. I'm a tough old guy , but this easier to cock gas ram I have to use 2 hands to make it truly easy.
