My 1400 from the 70's had a trigger that would increase in pull weight the more it was pumped. At 10 pumps it would probably bend the rod on a trigger gauge. LMAO! ...and it was Loud!
The first time shooting a high end springer at a local dealer,I was Blown Away! Lets just say,the trigger took me by suprise. And so did the lack of sound!

I bet this is the display that those super pellets came out of.
I found this display the other day and I was wondering what brand of pellets was sold out of it years ago.
I was wondering if anyone remembers this display case at the local hardware store. Ignore the shot glasses I was too lazy to remove them for the picture.

K-Mart back when they were a store. Key 7, Sporting Goods. Used to work there long before they tanked. Long before computers and bar codes. Good stuff that

I remember those pellets from when I was a kid. We didn't know about pellets. We just wanted pellets and those are what we could get. Occasionally we got some Benjamin pellets in the green tin. Those were the cool pellets. I never had any Super Pells in the metal tin like the picture above. They came in a plastic container with belt clips on the side. The pellet looked just like the ones shown. I think they were Crosman Sidewinders or something like that.

Good clean fun there.
I still have a couple of tall tins around hoping to luck into another crosman 600 sometime, they were "the ammo" for the 600's once upon a time.
Love the old reliable classics such as yours.
