Old burst discs

If you keep paintball bottles around as buddy bottles long enough you lose some burst discs to electrolysis and corrosion from moisture in the air. I've had 1 consistent problem for 15 years.

The old 3k psi regulated air venturi/ninja fill station with a recessed valve pin.

Over the years it has been this unit consistently that has an electrolytic issue due to material choices/plating and any moisture in the air.

It's just a corroded burst disc, but i was just woken up at 130am by a freshly refilled 92ci buddy bottle dumping it's air inside a shooting bag in the closet. Fun fun😬

we use silicone for trailer elec connections to prevent corrosion,, why not try a thin film on the burst disc,, if you are having a repeated issue

where there skid marks? ,,, sorry couldn't help myself :poop:
No skid marks😂 I've had this fill station for 15 years and it's the 3rd issue. I have 2 other buddy bottles and 4 scbas and none of them want to act up like this one(ninja issues) . If it comes off to get silicone, it's coming off to get replaced with a 45 dollar chinese fill station now that I have an 1100ci tether bottle with a salt water rated pro reg.

Good tip tho!
