OKCGC "XFT" Field Target match results for 4-20-2024

OKCGC AirHeads had their April 20th ”X” Field Target match, and we had a blast. Shooting out to 100 yards is really cool!!! The weather guys said it would rain for sure on that day. But we the AirHeads said, nope we are having the match. Guess what, no rain and it was really a good day. We did have winds at 15mph with gusts up to 30mph! We also built more targets with some different shaped KZ’s, hehehe! We heard words like WHAT and OH GREAT from the shooters! I love it! It made for a fun match and they liked it! We set out 15 targets, shooting at them 4 times each for a 60-round match.

Caleb Dickerson came in 1st with a 53 with his hyped up Daystate. Rick Cuccio was 2nd shooting a score of 50 with his FX Royale and 3rd as Mr. Thom Davies with a 49 also using a FX Royale. Congratulations to you guys.

We had 14 shooters come out even with the prediction of rain, things just seem to work out at times for the good…

We are looking forward to the next “X” Field Target match…

The key is to double load skirt first. They don’t rattle down the bore as badly and it improves your chances of impact.

I have edited the score sheet to reflect the actual pellets used, Rangemaster 34 gr.

Randy, I’m giving you a hard time bud. Don’t take my joshing as being ugly please. We all know Caleb wields a Daystate Red Wolf in a custom battle worn orange finish. He shoots those 34gr at a blistering 975 fps or there about.

Love your pictures and a lot of those gents too that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting with. That Rick is a true gem The targets y’all use are awesome. I’m gonna make a trip up there to do an Extreme FT with y’all this year. Thanks for sharing.

I did not take it that way at all!! I laughed at what you said about Caleb using 10.34s. I also laughed at what I put down, or how it even got there for his pellet choice lol. .
We would love to have you shoot with us, come on up!
I agree with you about Rick, he even showed up at 7:30am to help us set up the range!! And he is not that close to us, long drive. Great GUY!!
