Results OKC Gun Club Field Target Results 7/17/21 (+pictures)

The July shoot is complete, and even with the heat we had a great turnout. We had 23 shooters come out to enjoy 13 lanes with 52 shots at 26 targets, and while they were at it they got to witness our club's first perfect score! Congratulations Jeff Cloud 52/52!

Thanks too to those doing the course setup. Not a single cease fire. It went without a hitch. Then thanks are in order for our cooks for the lunch afterwards. The hotdogs, potato salad, chips and drinks were great, and the watermelon was a refresher for sure.

Yes! It was great fun! Another over the top turn out even in the Oklahoma heat. Food was truly delish. Watermelon hit the spot too. Now we are wondering if Jeff can do a back to back clean course at his match this next weekend? Lucky or good? Saturday will tell..

Awesome for you guys. Great match report and those pics of Okie red dirt country sure brought back memories of my first 18 years of life growing up in southeastern OK. 

Really impressive that you guys are pulling 20+ shooters so early. It gives me hope that field target can keep going strong when a relatively new club like you guys gets so many shooters.

It feels pretty cool to clear a course…never done that before! I always appreciate getting lunch after a match; I haven’t been able to do that yet due to my conflict of still wanting to shoot the match.
I have a good course ready for everyone at Arlington Sports Club for this Saturday with a couple of new challenges.
