Ok have a question have anyone ever thought 🤔 about ordering a scope directly from a China manufacturer instead of a company????

In this way you cut the middle man out and save a little $$. So there are 20 scope companies in China that made rifle scopes. Interesting these scopes looks very close to Arken scopes...... You can order one scope at a time too. It's just a though....

But WHY ... we can already purchase said scopes w/o any support here in the states already ... LOL
Well like maybe discovery has them 2 stright power scooes you cant get here but can at alibabba china shopping.

Outside the usa you got 100000000's of choices and products . Here you grt the crap the rest of the world dont want / handfull choices..lol. G0d bless america

I've made hundreds of orders from China and here are my recommendations:
1. Buy from a site that offers a refund like Aliexpress, never had any problems with getting a refund for a bad or no product.

2. Shipping will take months but who cares, I'm willing to wait 2-3 months if I save 75% compared to buying locally.

3. Search for the product you want, add it to your basket, then search for the same item using similar words. Add them all to the basket, then check which one is the cheapest and delete the rest. There are usually 10-20 sellers all selling the same thing at different price points. Beware the trick where an item has a low price but when you click the item there are 2-5 different products offered and 1 might be a broken crayon for $0.50 which means the entire listing is sorted after the lowest value. Basically everyone exploits this, the price should be based on the highest price item offered, not the lowest.

4. Free shipping is normally more expensive than with shipping. Many sellers try to scam you on the shipping, if you need many cheap items press the + to add more items, if shipping goes up it's a scam/trick, try to find one where shipping doesn't go up until you have 5-10 items in the selection.

5. There is no such thing as a warranty, they might say please send it back for a replacement but the chances of them sending you a new one is really low once you have confirmed that you have received the item.

6. Expect the product to be garbage, don't order something for a price you aren't prepared to be scammed at. I'd say 90% of what I have ordered have been good enough or better than expected but 10% were so bad it was basically trash.

7. READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!! Item titles are OFTEN FULL OF LIES or misdirection's. I have been looking at laser cutters, many titles say 20W laster cutter but when you read the product description it says it's 5W but can be upgraded. In terms for refunds for misleading products it's always based on the product description and NOT THE ITEM TITLE!

8. Pictures are often fake or faked in some way, pay attention.

as @MadCowCrazy2 said the saving has to be substantial, 100 dollars off is not enough savings. You need about 70% off to take that risk if you ask me. Sadly Aliexpress isn’t anywhere near as cheap as before.
I believe the reason they aren't as cheap as they used to be is because of their great refund policy. Now businesses have to make sure you receive a product and that it's actually what you ordered. Before they had rules like you had to have sold 10 items to open a business account so people sold $0.10 bracelets to themselves to open "business accounts" to try and scam people.
They also made it so the seller doesn't get the money until the buyer has clicked the "item received" button or 100 days (or is it 90 days?) have passed since the item was sold.
I'm guessing Aliexpress didn't want to become known as a site full of scammers so cracked down on it and basically made it so the customer is always right.
This forces sellers to actually provide a product and if it's garbage they can demand a refund. So basically scammers have a harder time on Aliexpress so probably try to sell on other websites with less buyer protections.

Here is another tip:
If the deadline for auto confirmation is getting close then open a ticket that you haven't received the item. There are 2 ways the seller will generally respond, either by giving a refund or try to scam you. Keep a close look at the tracking as all products (in my experience) sold on Aliexpress come with tracking.

If the sellers tells you to confirm the receipt of the item and that they will then solve the problem just between the two of you don't fall for this.
I've had 2 sellers ask me to confirm the receipt of the item and that they will then give me a refund once I do that. Was told they get a mark for undelivered item if I don't and close my ticket. Just keep the ticket open and they will eventually refund you or Aliexpress will force them to do so.
NEVER confirm delivery if you haven't actually received the item, it will just cause problems and if it's a scam you might get the money back by showing the messages where the seller tells you to confirm it but it also means the seller has received the money and is long gone with it.

Many manufacturers have their own official pages on Aliexpress, prices are normally more expensive than other sellers of the same item but you get to buy from a more reputable seller.
