Opinions on best scope With multiple aim points, springer rated between $200-$300 and why?

A number of fellow shooters have used the Centerpoint 4-14 or 6-16X from Walmart succesfully. The old olnes had a pure Mildot reticle.

The Springer rating is a marketing ploy on most scopes below $300. Very few have a low failure rate after a couple thousand rounds in a magnum springer. Even ones which I would normally suggest, have had a rather measurable failure rate. Usually the simpler the scope is, the better it survives a springer. (fixed magnification, no parallax adjustments, etc).

Josh, my vote go to the swfa 10 or 12x. Fantastic glass, great tracking system, MD or mq. Got a 12x on my rws 54 .22 and shoot balloons at 100 yds. Swfa sampler list had demos for $259. If the gun fai remove scope and use as weapon. You will love it.

Just don't get too high magnification, I own the fixed 20 SWFA and it washes out badly without a killflash filter installed. Down side of the killflash it makes the scope image very dark. I'm probably going to remove it and replace with an Athlon Argos. Love the SWFA reticle but hate the glare. Best of luck in your choice.

Hey Josh, IF you have strelok pro a fantastic scope in your price range is the Aeon 6-24x50 sf. Pro is the key to understanding the reticle spacing at a given power. How the grey label jsb 18.1 doing? Tommy.
