I posted below I ordered a new tuxing compressor. Well I tried starting it up in my house and it kept tripping the breaker on start up. Well this is not may first rodeo with 

China compressors. Yes I put oil in it opened the air bleed valve ect. I did have it on a exstenchend cord so I moved it out to my shop. On my bench I plugged it in to my wall 

Plug with no exstention cord. Well it busted off then I saw sparks and smoke and it tripped it,s 18 amp breaker. I pulled the cover and looking it over with a very bright led light 

Not good. Where they ran the breaker wires I saw burn marks where the wires touched the windings of the motor. I cut the tie wraps that held the wires thinking I might to 

Be able to repair them. They were in a covering that was burned but the problem is the motor winding that was touching them was burned into. So I guess I will see what Tuxing 

Will do with warranty. Why they would rought those wire up against the windings of th motor is beong me.

Funny you say that. I sent them a nasty e-mail this morning about just that in so many words. I talked to another fellow that went through a different problem with his when he 

first received his. He had bought his off Amazon & even Amazon refers there customers to Tuxing service to resolve problems. He just blew it off. I will not for the fact many Chinese 

companies think they can operate in our country like maybe they do there. Our country is built on a free market & we should not let them operate like that. My compressor electric 

motor winding burnt from no fault of mine. I know how to set them up & run them, been doing so for the last few years. Thank you heavy-impact for your advice.

Well still nothing from there service dept. I have been busy posting my story. But this has become more than the money I,m out, it has become a personal attack on my intellect. If

they think Americans are stupid & they can sell inferior products to us & take our money & we are just going to let it go thats BS. We have a mine set these product are cheap so 

we should not exspect much. I don;t no how many times I have heard that. But even so I exspect them to run. How many of us get a new compressor only to take it a part to 

repair it so it will run? I have & so have you. But I have a brand new compressor that has not run but 10 sec at a time. I have no way to rewind a electric motor that had a short 

in the windings & burnt a few of those wires into. Tuxing will not even reply back to me after countless e-mails. What makes the Chinese think they can treat Americans as they do. 

A American company would be locking their doors from lack sales in a short time. There is a market for these cheaper compressors & they will come & put these folks out of this market. Once you get a bad name it is hard to ever recover. All I have ask for is a exchange for a working one.

I just got a reply post edited by a moderator after expressing similar sentiments.

If people from said country actually had good quality control and made reliable things with quality materials and some standard of quality control there would be alot less sales of such throw away items.

They be all chugging along so no need to keep on constantly buying new replacements since they never break.

The smartest greediest most money hungriest companies would knowingly sell items and purposely with hold or have no replacement parts that are normally prone to fail. Of course they know about it and expect higher future sales volume because of it.

The worst are the ones who still selling items out right knows they already are prone to failure and keep on manufacturing said items with no improvements.

It's common sense that items manufactured in that country got a ratio of good and bad due to mind set of making things as cheap as possible and hurry up production.

Puts more money in company's owners pockets this way. Manufacturers and US companies who contracted them to build.

Probability less percentage of bad ones comes from other countries who pride them selves as being quality oriented.

What's troubling is that they can't seem to copy the good reliable high dollar brands very well either. 

If you bought from Amazon who knows if you bought a real genuine Chinese item or a knock off of a Chinese made item.

Another concern is they don't have strict regulations like we do here in the states.

No one checking for safety hazard or knows if the item may burst into flames or explode when used first time. 

Hope you already contacted your credit card company to let them know of a possible dispute charge back regarding Amazon due to defective and potentially hazardous merchandise received. Can you imagine if your house burnt down had it burst into flames?

I wouldn't monkey around to try and fix it. Don't give them any excuse to deny your claim.

You should contact Amazon to request a return label so you won't be out any shipping charges.

I wouldn't request a repair. It's a brand new unit that burnt. You should get swapped a brand new one no charge and no out of pocket shipping cost.

There's a good probability a new one won't last too long any way so I'd just request a refund and save up for a Hill compressor. I can't imagine it being made up of all 100% Chinese parts and only assembled in England.

Just imagine all of the folks who had a similar bad experience who aren't vocal about it who tossed theirs and just bought another one. Some one on YouTube stated he went through 6 or 7 in 2 years time?

Others may recommend the Yong Heng and it's likely going to last alot longer than a replacement Tuxing as well. 

If you only filling directly to guns then there should be very little wear or stress compared to filling a Scba tank.

Well I did not buy threw Amazon but even if I did Amazon on warranty refers you to contact the seller. In my case I bought threw Tuxing on there web site. Now just last night I finally 

got a reply asking me what happened & ask me to send a picture or video. I sent them a detailed of what indeed happened & I would send a picture. I have heard this story 

from others saying they did & got a reply back they wanted the customer to send the compressor back to them for replacement. We are talking back to China on my

nickel. I will except that. The cost would be as much as the unit in shipping. We shall see. What a nightmare. If indeed they will replace the compressor. I will be happy. But I can 

tell you this. If they indeed do, I will pull the cover & go over it with a fine tooth comb. In fact I would advise anyone reading this thread to do the same, NO MATTER the brand 

coming from China.
