Waiting for my W31 to be delivered tomorrow. I got the vertical 220V version. I'm going to use the clothes dryer outlet in my garage, it's on a 30 amp breaker.

The oil for this thing is crazy expensive. The only place I could find the Anderol was in Canada.
@elittle1234 Gotta pay to play.

You can go direct to Alkin. I got mine from the New Jersey location. I got the same set up as you, works great.

Is your car a peterbilt 589?
It should have been $300. It's 300 plus tax or 290 plus tax so around 330$. A Peterbuilt would be a nice daily driver! It's a 23 Audi S6.

Edit to add: I live in an expensive county and the car is like 2" off the ground and I'm not trying to jack it up and squeeze under it!

Started my new Alkin W31 yesterday. Didn’t install the AL cartridge so had a leak. Installed cartridge and filled used SCBA up to 1000 psi. Did notice new compressor only has one gauge. I guess cost cutting.
@markT a few things changed on yours. The safety valve on the air purifier tower (the one that pops if you exceed the max set pressure) appears to have been moved. There is another safety valve on mine where you gauge now is situated. The valves and parts have labels on yours. The two gauges have been reduced to one and it has been moved to the left side and the piping in front of the oil drain has been bent down instead of inwards, exposing more of the front of the compressor making oil changes easier. Is yours an auto shutoff version?

I have no idea how to use this thing lol. Makes my air venturi compressor seem like a shovel or something.
@elittle1234 I suggest going back in the thread, locating some of the Alkin videos posted on YouTube, and watching them. It should also help t your understanding to refer to the owner’s manual. You’ll get the hang of it eventually. Took me a little while to understand and remember the order of operation. Welcome to the club.

ey thanks for that!! I'm not if it is auto or not because I haven't ran it up to 4500 AND i see what appears to be a wire pressure switch. How does one know?
Edit: Just read the invoice, looks like mine is semi auto:
