A fave!

Not painted or hydro-dipped, REAL rattlesnake skin adornments I've done (under Fullerplast, as described I'n my post above).

Wow, that's really neat. Well done sir

Well, I had to add a new breech seal and 2 more seal shims to my Remington 725VTR to get it working right. Then did some simple machining/rebluing on the cocking lever and butt stock to add sling swivels and logo sling. But I also sent the bare stock to Midohiohydro.com to be dipped in Realtree EDGE camo. Had the dimpled grip areas, trigger guard and grip cap logo masked off to stay black. They did a beautiful job on it!

And of course the restomodded 160 Pellgun variant 1 (55-56), with all the metal parts reblued, XP-tuned gas valve and Minwax #231 Gunstock stain matching the original very closely. But clearer to show the beautiful Elm grain character. I also added some sling swivels and an olive drab (popular in the 1950's) Gander Mtn logo sling from before they closed the store up the street.

And doing a restomod on my 760 Powermaster variant 1 (6/70) with NOS 761XL barrel, reblued, and restained the butt stock with Minwax #224 special walnut, which matches the fore stock tone very well. But also shows what looks like low-grade flame maple with the clearer stain. Original stain on the forestock with one coat of Tru-Oil to preserve it after I cleaned it. I've taken scads of photos trying to capture those tiger stripes/flames just right. Sort of like a peek-a-boo paint job. I also added a mac1 seal/piston upgrade kit and MOE 2.5" picatinny rails to mount the Simmons 4x32 scope on with Hawke low-rise mounts.

Nice! I had a .357 Cricket that was an absolute hammer. I took down several feral pigs with it. Too bad Kalibrgun doesn't stand behind their products here in the USA. Meaning once the retailer/importer receives the products that Kalibrgun is totally hands-off and all the warranty work falls on the retailer.

Sorry to get off-topic... I like the green. You inspired me to coat my Impact. Should be done soon.

Cheers
