Odoyle, Curler or curling iron?

Hair curlers the cheapies from the dollar store.

Actually vintage ones seem to work nest like your grandma's.

You want easy air flow through everywhere not restricted that only waste space.

1/4" diamond pattern wire screen would work tebem better too roll onto round dowel or rod to shape them.

Springs separated by washers work even better than that.

You got chickens so the 20ga wire screen may do. Roll them over 1/2" rods to shape.

Look like this but smaller diameter.

Lotsa free flow no restriction just toss the plastic insert.

Old fashioned vintage ones seem to work better than modern plastic ones that restrict air flow just take up wasted space.

Much more Cheaper to just make your own from screen material to look like this.

At least 2 to 3 chambers separated by washers.

A few cut weak springs and washers work better.

Scotch brite type material generic one on.

Felt and foam not as quiet and only waste space. Has to really to breathe through easy to work. Foam is the worst. Can't breathe through it.

If you hold 3 layers of it over your nose and mouth you can beneath easy? Easier to breathe more quieter your LDC.

Oil the scotch brite type material a little.

For me nothing else comes close to 3D printed baffles that are very close to caliber (+.007") so as to strip away and delay high velocity air. I use them in my oem FX moderator and add an extra center section when I need more volume. Makes my 132 fpe .30 cal impact sound like one of those movie silencers. I sold my Ronin within hours of the first test because the difference was night and day and also way lighter for less droop on the 700mm barrel.

Inside car mufflers there is this metal pipe with alot of holes wrapped with sound dampening material. That pipe is what I use inside my silencers. I have found out that if you run really high power guns with too weak internal parts they dont last long. I had Huma silencer in my texan and it had metal wire curler type fitting inside that tore apart in less than 50shots.

I have some of these and can attest to their greatness. I do also use 1 hardware cloth mesh and felt roll in the end of my mod.

I have since gotten a 3d printer and replicated these baffles

So before heading out to the hardware store I wrapped a couple of plastic Hatsan baffles(that's what was lying around) in porous dishwashing cloth. Wrapped it loosely, about 5 wrap's. Dang if Odoyle wasn't right. The report of the shot is now backyard friendly, really amazing. Loosely woven plastic dishwashing cloth works pretty good. Will try Scotch bright when I get into the stores again.
