I’ve been taking more time to shoot my GK1 over the last month or so. My groups aren’t so hot, but are improving some. Today I noticed that after a certain number of shots my pellets were dropping noticeably while shooting from 10 yards. This is without shooting below the recommended 14 12 mpa (I don’t know why I keep confusing 12 mpa with 14 mpa). I would start with the reservoir at 25-26 mpa and after 17 shots the reservoir would finish at 15 mpa. I held over to compensate for the drop and it seems to have corrected the issue. I hadn’t noticed this before and I’m shooting somewhat light pellets At 25.39 grains in .25. I’ll at photos in a little bit once I have a chance to measure some group sizes.
edit: Target #s 3, 4, and 5 were shot 9x with the reservoir “topped off“ around 25-26 mpa. 6, 7, 8 were shot 8x with the second half of the mag ending around 15 mpa. I hadn’t ever noticed a consistent drop in my shots until I shot in an up/down pattern.
The better groups measure around 1.5” CTC Which isn’t great. We’re talking about shooting offhand from 10 yards, BUT I was content seeing 3-5 shots (out of 8-9 shots) grouped tightly on 8 of 11 targets.
