Obscure but slightly cool air rifle you kinda want but would never buy

Man I wish I could have used that thing when I use to work at a psyc ward. I would have loved my job. You could remove pest nonlethally. Just relocate em. When someone was out of control.....which was often......we would call a code green overhead throughout the whole hospital. All males had to run to location.....hold em down.....and give a big shot in the ars. Then hold em for another 20 till meds took full effect. I was the shot giver. Im like 6'3'' and 220 but I was small compared to all the techs they hired. They were hired by the pound we use to say. Huge guys....and we needed em too.

I'm sure it would have worked well in a hospital given that in the pics on their site it shows it being used on elephants....

This is what we'll all be using in the future once the liberals have finally gotten their own way and made it illegal to kill anything when hunting. We'll all be there using our FX Impact mark 6 tranq guns to send squirrels for nap and boasting about how we did it from 100 yards with a strong cross wind and still managed to make the squirrel land on the pillow we had to lay down at the bottom of the tree to stop it getting injured when it fell.

I always wanted a double barrel air gun but in my head it looked more like a sawn off coach gun and fired 25 cal pellets. This is actually the fourth double barrel air gun I have seen and not one is anything close to what I wanted.

This is also the 3rd pneumatic tranq gun I have seen. The 1st was a modified Crossman multi-pump. The second is an option on that Airrow arrow gun from Swivel machine. They offer LW barrels in every caliber from .177 up to .38, harpoon, arrow, grapnel hook and tranq barrels...

Even stranger than the double barrel option to me is that "Dan-Inject" also offer a single barrel version with a highly figured (and rather nice looking) walnut stock. It just doesn't seem like the sort of product people would pay to upgrade like that.

I found it by accident when I saw one used on an Australian site (while looking for something unrelated) and it was selling for close to $5000 (Australian dollars) and that was only the single barrel green stock version. I find it amazing that they even sold one of these things....

"T3PRanch"Didn't one of the big English Airgun Manufacturers start as a "tranquilizer gun" manufacturer. (Air Arms perhaps)?

Good idea Zebra.....tranquilize and relocation for Liberals. I like it. :p

Yup!
The first pre-charged airgun I ever used was an Daystate 13mm dart gun we used to tag Grizzley Bear. Circa 1989 I believe, shoulda kept that rifle!
