Has anyone done the O-ring mod to fix hammer bounce on a Discovery or Maximus. How effective is it? What size O-rings would you need? I've seen a video showing this mod on a Marauder, but the tube is a different diameter.

The tube OD is 7/8" and the ID is 3/4" 1/16"X 3/4' OD should do it for you. These are easily available in hardware stores.

I don't think that mod really work's for the discos/maximus since they lack a hammer throw adjuster

I think that is an easy part to add on. Should add a few more shots and lessen the report from the gun due to air loss.

Didn't work for me. 2 fit. The 3rd was the same place as the breech screw. I got a hammer debounce device from Steve in NC. With a .042in hammer spring I got 40 good shots using the H@N FTT 8.4gr pellet.

I have a disrovery I added the O rings an got 20 or so shots from 2000psi down to 1800psi I think total shots count is about 45 or so.think I placed 2 O rings the third one made it not in inguage the valve pin.also with 2 rings I can still increase hammer spring tension.hope this helps

what is the o-ring mod? I could use some more fps and thought about buying the huma regulator and turn max bar.

If i use the huma air regulator install it with 150bar setup, will my fps increase with higher preasure or am i wrong?
