O-ring exchange?

I'm about to place an order for a bunch of metric sized o-rings for my Royale .22. Most of the sizes that I will be ordering come in quantities of 25 or 50. So yes, this will be WAY more than I will ever need.

Has anyone ever tried setting up a thread or exchange system where we list the size and quantity of o-rings that we're sitting on and offer them for close our cost plus tip/beer money?

For example my order will be 370(!) or so o-rings and it will cost about $23 shipped. This works out to be about $.06 / o-ring. Let's round up to a dime per o-ring and assume the interested party has to send a SASE (that's a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope for the youngins...) for the seller's convenience. And let's say the person buying wants 10 o-rings, they would pay:

$1 for the 10 o-rings
$1 for postage (just guessing 50 cents each way in a normal sized letter)
$2 for tip/beer money (yes, some places have $2 draughts still...)
----
$4 total

This is darn close to the $3.75 flat-rate shipping cost from oringsandmore on ebay. And if the letter sent by the sender gets lost with the $4 in it, big deal...

For reference, here is the order that I'll be placing:
  • Viton®/FKM O-ring 7.65 x 1.78mm Price for 50 pcs
  • Viton®/FKM O-ring 1.5 x 1mm Price for 25 pcs
  • Metric Buna O-rings 9.3 x 2.4mm Price for 25 pcs

  • Buna O-rings # 009-90D Price for 50 pcs

Thoughts? Comments? Is this brilliant or a waste of time?
