Nuoge Compressor

I came across a Nouge compressor. It is very similar in construction to the Hatsan Spark except for the power input terminals. Does anyone have any info on the specific model, perhaps a manual?

@Normkel I would appreciate any info. Also, I would like to know what O-rings are required for rebuilding, if you have that information.
I am experiencing some health issues so please excuse that I may not be as prompt as we would prefer.

Here are some photos of the Nuoge. The gear reduction and electric motor appear to be the same as my GX CS3 but I did not disassembly both at the same time to try to swap parts.

I have more internal parts photos if you would like. I'm pleased to put these out there if they are of interest.

At the time, with shipping, it wasn't that much different in cost to order the complete compressor cylinder assembly from AliExpress, so I did that.

I have a spare and some other parts in case mine, or an acquaintence has a failure.

My Nuoge is a backup for my GC CS3 which I use at the range to fill my PCPs. I give the Nuoge some excercise from time to time.

One day per week at the range, typically 6-7 hours, with 80 mile round trip means that I don't want to be stuck for lack of air.

Is there more information that I might be able to provide?

@Normkel Thank you very much for taking the time to do this! Are there O-ring kits that can be purchased for maintenance, or do just match them up when service is required?
They use "Teflon" rings as piston seals the orange arrow identifies where the front, high-pressure piston seal melted in this Tuxing. The owner was using it to fill some large bottles and it finally melted some parts

IIRC, I have ordered some piston seals for others so should have information. I will look tomorrow.

There are variations but this video should give a good impression of what is involved in servicing one of these.

*NB. I have disassembled mine and my GX CS3 gear box in order to remove the strange grease, that looks like peanut butter, and replacnig with a good quality grease NLGI #2, GC-LB.

I happen to use a product by Lucas Oil Products Red "N" Tacky Grease, not because it is magic, or nothing else will do, but because I have used this product successfully for decades. Any equivalent grease by a quality lubricants company will serve as well, IME.

@Normkel Thank you, again!! I know Remington changed to teflon O-rings in the 1100 shotgun because of the neoprene (or maybe Viton) failures. Interesting video; the Nuoge doesn't appear to be near as complicated, probably because it is a less expensive unit.
The piston sealing rings are also a different shape than are O rings. IME, O rings are not suitable for high rates of reciprocation, especially without very significant lubrication. I understand that O rings, in reciprocating applications, operate on an oil/lubricant film.

O rings are common in such reciprocating applications as automatic transmission spool valves, hydraulic pistons, ABS brake module pistons, etc. The cannot handle applications such as compressor piston seals, IMO.

I agree with the assessment, "the Nuoge doesn't appear to be near as complicated, probably because it is a less expensive unit.".

The same is the case for Yong Heng & clone compressors as compared to New Warrior Mini Luxury Compressor which seems virtually identical to Benjamin Recharge 4500 PSI Compressor. They have parts that are identical but additional components and refinements.

I am pleased to share that I understand about these compressors, as a service to others, and in the hope that someone may correct errors take some of the information to a higher level.

I like the "industrial" aspect of the Nuoge and clones as the ability to service is better than most other types. It is slower than the CS3, or Yong Hengs, although I stepped away from the YH types for various reasons. I owned a New Warrior, which is the physical size and weight of a GX CS4. I don't contemplate owning another, or a CS4 because of the size and weight, given that mine go to the range to work for ~one hour pumping each week.

New Warrior, GX CS3, Nuoge.

Nuoge. How do you even pronounce that? The brand name just sounds bootleg. I’m over here checking my pockets right now. It just feels like I’m being ripped off trying to pronounce that name aloud.

@Normkel Whats going on in the photo with the chewed up looking part? Is that lube? If so, which type did you use? I’d be lost if I had to open one of these up. At least you have an idea about maintaining these.

Nuoge is the English translation of the Chinese which means, "You just got taken bigtime!" - just kidding of course.
It seems apparent that these are private-labeled items as the internals are so much alike on many of these. I can tell you that the Nuoge is extremely simple inside, and to me, the KISS principle applies. I got mine as a "parts only or for repair" off ebay. It was banged up as if it had been damaged in shipping or similar. I took a chance for the price, stripped it down and hammered out the sheetmetal cover; that's all the damage there was. Everything else looked new and unused, not even any dust inside it, which you would expect from the high-speed fan, if it was used. I plugged it in and charged my 100cc cartridge in a matter of a few minutes. I made out this time!
