That looks exactly like the little prairie dogs that we have here in Arizona, that some people call squeaks.

All of a sudden I had quite a rash of them in my back acre and they were chowing down on my cacti and the roots of my trees. My Brocock Bantam .25 dispatched about 25 of them and I think there are only one or two left. And they’ve sure got the scare on ‘em now!
