I have been working for the past several weeks to get my .22 Cricket mini set up in agreement with Strelock Pro. Mike’s been coaching me but some days I felt it would never come into agreement.

This morning shortly after 6am I’m out trying to get it done before the heat drives me back in. I set up first at 50 yards to check zero. Made tiny windage adjustment and re-zeroed the scope. Moved the target to 75 yards and checked it twice with my rangefinder. Cranked in 6 moa and shot five shots at the center of the target and felt pretty good. I thought that’s about an inch or a little over so I can probably get a good 1.5 or so at 100.

Walked back to the rest and put a new mag of 18 Gr JSB into the gun, checked the air ok at about 210b, Cranked in 13.7 moa on the Hawke, sat down and proceeded to shoot the group you see. Slight wind off and on but barely moving my flag on the gun.

Looked through the scope again was very happy and said to myself. “Self you deserve breakfast”

Strelock now programmed out to 200 but that’s just for poops and grins.

I just learned what NUAH means a few days ago when the guys were bragging up the FX Boss .30. I know how they feel now.

75-yard group measured .945

100 measured .866

Thanks for the coaching Mike!

Mod edit: moved to FT, Benchrest and Target Shooting forum

Intenseaty22 I have the Hades next on my list to program into Strelock . So far with minimal test they are a little less accurate than 18's but they sure tear the hell outta rats and GS.

They also shoot to a different zero (of course) but I was hoping to get the same horizontal POI but it's off to about the 2 o-clock position. OH well. I did notice that all the work with the 18s shooting different distances that they started to perform ( shoot tighter) at 50 yards and beyond. I had more wanders closer in. It may just be me not paying as much attention. Have you ever encountered that?

I usually shoot the Hades at the tree rats inside of 30 yards. Devastating!

*No, never really noticed that phenomenon, but truth be told, I don’t do a lot (any) long distance shooting. But inside of 35 yards, same boring hole time after time.

I took the Mini to S. Dakota and dang if I didn’t forget the 18gr! So the 16gr Sovereigns had to do. They were more accurate than the Hades, specially at beyond 50, for sure.

Not sure if you saw my short vid. < 1 min.

I didn’t bring the Chrono, so it’s only an estimate of ~ 930fps +/- I don’t have all that fancy Data and Gadgets y’all do, but I’m happy with these results.

Magfreakingnificent!!! A .22 with a 15.3 inch barrel shooting 18.1 grain JSB Heavy decisively under 1 MOA at 100 yards! What? Nice shooting brother!!! I knew you were getting close to the magic... I’ll do up a scope tape for you with that extra ScopeWerks elevation turret for Hawke Sidewinders. I call those dial-a-yardage. Range - Dial - Dead Ground Squirrel. Easy... It’s the one I used to have on my Bobcat.
