These 28.5gr .217 Slugs from @nielsenspecialtyammo were the easiest slugs to tune so far. Running the same tune I have for the NSA 20.2gr .217 @1020 fps. Just upped the hammer from 2 to Max and Im getting 950fps with these 28.5gr. Hitting a 1" spinner at 90 yards with ease and picking .5" rocks off at 75 yards just shooting off the Trap and Bag.
Might be my slug for the first Local NRL22. Just have to see how they perform at around 150-200 yards.
Using the 600mm Slug A barrel and Slug Kit on the FX Impact MKII.
After seeing how hard it hits these small rocks at 75 yards this might be our setup for Bullfrog Hunting at the end of the month.
