NSA 26.8 slugs

I'm noticing spiraling at 66 yard target. Gauntlet is tunable. Currently hitting 858 fps average over chrony. Should I try getting up to 900 with them. What could be causing it? Read many things with some saying to fast and other to slow it down. Barrel has a 1:20 twist. Chamber beautifully. Slugs are the .249's

Try the 20 or the 23 gr as the that twist rate is a little unforgiving per say. I had the 25 caliber gauntlet and it loved the lighter slugs but the heavier pellets did well. As there is more surface contact with the slugs I noticed the lighter ones work better. Good luck.

L to R... Hades, Polymag, NSAa 26.8 retrieved from milk jugs at 50 yards. I take the slugs hands down. Shooting very well out to 135.

TNT19 who makes slugs that light? I have a ,25 cal for more info. Never seen any at that weight. Smallest I found was 24 gr and those were special ones. Issue there was they were to big at .254"
