NSA .22cal 31.2 gr slugs

I tested these 31.2 this weekend out of my pp impact and at 30 yards they were touching but opened up at 50 yards to 1”. Tried them from 935-970 FPS and that was the best I could get out of them. Anyone else get a different results.

What barrel are you using? Superior, superior heavy, 600mm or 700mm? Also, for me with a 700mm with superior heavy liner I shoot slugs at @1000fps. I start at higher speeds and step down to see the best grouping.

Have you tried any other slug makers: Varmint Knocker or Griffin? Also, have you bumped up your speeds to see if it helps then backing off a little at a time.

Tuning is fun but takes time and much trial and error to achieve your end result of power and accuracy. Keep at it and try different ammo as well. I shoot Griffin, NSA and Varmint Knockers and each one is great in their specific rifle/tune but if I try and shoot the VK on the Griffin tune I loose velocity and accuracy and vice versa. Now my Maverick loves the NSA and Griffin's but not the VK. I had a few hundred VK for my MK2 and assumed they would be assume in the Maverick but I was wrong.

Switched over to the NSA and Griffin and everything was great again. Just because the one slug doesn't perform well doesn't mean others will do the same. I saw that it was both the slugs and pellets too but would encourage you to try some different slugs if possible.
