NSA 20.2gr .219 for the Leshiy 2 = Major win!

Picked up a econo pack of the 20.2gr NSA .219 for my leshiy 2 and my goodness. It was PLUG and PLAY.

I have a 450mm polygonal AP barrel for my leshiy 2 and it is producing the same or better accuracy as 18gr jsb pellets in the same conditions. I didn't even have to change my scope zero. Same zero as 18gr jsb pellets.

My reg is set rather low around 105-110bar.
Jsb 18gr fly around 870fps. The 20.2gr NSA are going 810fps. Even at the "slow" 810fps the slugs pack a wallop. Definitely will be my go to hunting projectile.

If you own a leshiy 2 with the AP barrel, give them a shot.

That’s a perfect storm tried few howlers in my impact not a slug guy and they were great. 18 gr also

I got a few boxes of them, need to sit down and set up the chrony and dial them. I’m curious how they’ll run at 900-950 range. I just ordered the bottle too so I’ll have more air.

Expansion seems great even at the speed in shooting them at. Took a dove for my dog, 60 yard shot and the impact sounded like a fire cracker. Nice pop.

Also took a shot at dove 140 yards out on one of my fence post. I guessed the drop. I hit the fence post about 4 inches below him.

Interesting results. I tried these in my 600mm AP barrel and wasn't having much luck - but I was driving them at higher speeds. Might go back and try them at a slower speed, but so far I've not found a slug more accurate than the JSB 25gr redesigns.

I have also AP barrel. Haven't got time to do any good testing with slugs. But wondering that AP barrels has groove .220... Is .219 too small diameter..
But .219,5 etc won't fit in magazine. That test I made. Tested some casted bullets and sized them with NOE's sizing die and it drops .218,8 and that diameter fits magazine with little pressing

The .254 / 33.6 are really accurate in my .25/250mm with the Alpha, despite only slinging them at 720 fps. Reg is at ~130 (non-REPR). Very pleasantly surprised.

I agree. The .219 slugs shoot excellent out of my Leshiy 2. I’m using the 250mm barrel at 740 fps. Very accurate-even at 100 yards -and they hit hard.
I’ve been tempted to speed them up but they work so well (for my needs) at slow speed, I haven’t bothered.
I’m using the Edgun speed loader directly into the mag so the pellets falling out is a non-issue.

Absolutely. It’s a pleasure to use. I have to say it’s my favorite air gun accessory of all time. Holds six mags, which works perfect with my tune,
I air up and load up at the same time. I can’t imagine having the semi auto without it.
Yeah, the price… I hear ya…but I couldn’t imagine the L2 without it.
It looks like some guys are making a good effort with the 3-D printed ones, but IMHO the weight and feel of Ed’s kit is pure gold.
