Now, THAT is a scope

Picked up an Element Titan 5-25X56 on the classifieds here. I didn't quite realize what I was getting with this thing. It is kind of a beast.

My rings just came in at a store in town, but I am busy all weekend so probably will pick them up Monday. I did a quick mock up, though, just to see what the Taipan Veteran Long is going to look like.

Definitely looking forward for sighting it all in.

@puddleglum Damn, that’s like the Ron Jeremy of scopes isn’t it? I’d like to ask other questions, but after the above question I think I’ll wait a bit…

I will ask this tough, how’s the quality of the glass when looking through it? Which other scope that you have (or have used) can you compare it to?

Big scopes but the front element and large tube make for a nice bright image!

I just wished it was a LOT lighter, I got some heavy scopes that I like, I got some light scopes that I love, I no I no the $$$ thing keeps popping up.

I have one on my RW .25 HP. It's a FFP scope. It's got a great parallax wheel on it. Glass is good, but not quite the same as my RITON or Maven. I use it for EFT and it works great. A bit heavy but the RW is already heavy so not too bad. It's not one of my walking hunting guns! I can recommend it to anyone. And I got mine here on AGN.

Have the exact same scope on my RAW HM10000x .22 chassis rifle. Excellent scope.

I bumped into this thread today, and it seems like no one responded--or I missed it. There are two Titan models and both are FFP. In the Element line, only the Helix has SFP models. S7

I have been busy these last couple weeks, but I finally got the scope mounted to the Taipan Long. The scope has very long eye relief so I have the scope way forward. It is very windy today; the flag on the side of the barn is pretty much horizontal. So I will probably sight it in later this week.

Nice glass IS HEAVY !!! With generally large X range multipliers 4-6x ( 6-24 5-25 3-18 etc ) will be LARGE scopes
