I tested 2 inexpensive stripper moderators on my .22 liberty. Both performed equally well in my estimation. I noticed a significant reduction in sound out the front compared to stock. The noise when shooting the gun is not significantly reduced. The larger one is a Buck Rail, $25 + $40 for a donny fl adapter. The smaller one with the internal stripper is a Cams precision airguns, $60

I used the Cam's moderator with a piece of felt wrapped around it. Also buckrail has an internal type moderator for the liberty. It didn't seem quite as quiet as the cams. Just my opinion.

Back awhile ago, I did some testing with my Liberty(s): Liberty Baffles I found that it only needed about 3" for of shroud/baffles to make a significant difference. It made it "Mrod Quiet".
Of the two above, I'd go with the latter, since they performed same, and is shorter. Also, it looks like it centers the barrel and you can eliminate the oem spacer.

I didn't think about getting rid of the spacer, II just took it out and cut 4 grooves in it with my grinder to let some more air get down in the tube.
