Very nicely done Erlis! 

As an ex bicycle mechanic, we used to have to do something similar to "990 brakes"
[left hand spring on one side / right hand spring on the other side - then tension ea]

The springs would always pop out, so, I started cheating, 
and bonding them inside using Alvin Lab Metal or JB Kwik Weld. 😜 

Luckily, I haven't run into any spring issues with any of my magazines yet..
I've got 4 for the Nova, and for the Krals 6 in .22 and 2 in .25
I'm sure eventually disaster is going to strike. haha

Awww mannn... Having something new break before we even get to use it is the absolute worst..
Sorry to hear that happened to you with yours, but, I'm glad to see that everything worked out for the best!
And not only did you just 'fix it', you 'improved it', so IMO that is most definitely a win-win-situation!
