Nova Freedom pump question

Good morning

Finally, (2nd replacement) there is a working Nova Freedom in my hands.

The first two had pump jamming issues.

This one does not; and pumps smoothly,

After the initial oiling it took 8 pmps 100-1700psi ;and another 36 to 3000psi

Since then I've been oiling regularly when pumping through 166 rounds on 388 pumps

All seems ok except when I let the rifle rest after shooting/pumping.

The pump does not move air immediately for 9 strokes; so I oil it.

It then moves air properly

Is this normal, or is this an indication of a problem?

this seems to happen to be sometimes. especially if it's been a week or so since i shot it.

if it's doing it after letting it rest 5-10 minutes, then i would look at replacing that 006 o-ring. when this starts to happen, it's usually within a week or two that it gets very hard to pump, and it's time to teardown/replace that ring.

SInce the September posting the gun has been pumping very well.

The oiling regime continues, of course

I also have a "parts" Freedom on which I will learn how to replace O rings

All the O rings are here.

Just need to find the time to get to the to task
