depends on if you are going to use the junk mags that came with your notos , i knew immediately that i was going to replace mine with Carm , but it has been over a year since i got my notos, & i can not remember for sure , but i think i went with high rings , someone else with a better memory, will come along & help you, good luck & have fun, when i received mine, all of my other A/G were not getting used anymore..
Congratulations! A lot will also depend on what scope you mount, objective size will also dictate ring height along with magazine size like firewalker said above.
Well not smart guy in this but if mag hight dictates this I guess I'd stick with high so anything will fit in a pinch as needed .. not a darn it I wish I had high so this mag would work / fit instance occured .. lol
Also more room if wanting to single shot load or ?
Maybe going high is a buy once cry once thing I always hear about ..
Hi folks, new member on this forum. Like bdhappy, I've also just received my first Notos. In a related way, I was wondering if any members here have mounted a scope with a 50mm objective and what mount you've used to clear the picatinny on the barrel. I've had a 4-20 50mm Athlon Argos HMR mounted on a modded Hunter 270 Winchester that I haven't been using so I'd like to mount it on my Notos just to see if it's too much for this carbine and if I could live with it that way. I'd save having to buy another scope. Also, I researched that Athlon scope to see if it's compatible with PCP air rifles and the word I got was it has what it takes to survive that way. Thanks for any help on this.
