Notos barrel help for Cali

Thinking of getting a longer barrel and better Mod. Try to keep it as quit as possible Californians like to complain. It's for target and shooting quail. I'm solo out here on the Central Coast so any help with a liner would be far out!
C88machining is near Sacramento. He makes a 380mm,500mm, and a 100mm extension for thr 500mm if you want to use a 600. I had one. Moderator moderator moderator. Not the quietest gun

What mods are you considering? I have an assortment of donnyfl stuff, and what I don't have my buddies do. I'm happy to relay my findings.

Yeah I emailed him I guess the doesn't do liners but does the kit, I get one from him if I find a liner
I ordered a plenum from him and it looks great!
I know they're on ebay, but depending on how they listed it ebay will just reject shipping to cali(I'm south of you a couple hours) so I gave up on buying whole guns on ebay. I can get parts if people are aware of the way ebay cripples their potential market.

I too keep things quiet as possible to crazy quiet to avoid Karen myself. Let's assume you find your fx liner conversion, when you consider a moderator, and know your pellet and velocity (so I can guesstimate your air volume) I can let you know about some of my counter intuitive findings with mods.

BTW, smart man only listing quail. The other upland game you can take here according to dfg rules is turkey and I think you have them up there too, especially if you're pasarobles-ish.

Oh yeah gobble gobble lol
One more tip, look at the sellers profile. They'll often have a website and you can buy from there and have them ship it. Also being as this is for a notos conversion I don't see too much reason to go longer than 500. 500 is even probably excessive but will help with noise and give you more ability to use the power you make. My buddy has a 500 pellet liner, I will ask if he wants to get rid of it.

I have the 500 barrel kit from c88 and I bought the liner from Utah airguns, its cheaper than buying it together from terminator industries. You will need and extremely good suppressor/moderator/silencer. Stock notos is super quite compared to the notos with 500mm barrel kit. You will definitely miss the stock one in terms of noise, but its great I'm getting around 850fps to 903fps depending on pellet, with barrel kit stock airtank and plenum and plenum extention.

Wow all the info has been very cool! I was hesitant st first about this site and all, that was dumb lol... apparently you can teach a old dog new tricks. So is it possible to quiet down the 500mm barrel with a good mod as good as stock or better or will it be louder than stock no matter what? From what I'm assuming it's will be louder no matter. what

It gets louder the second you cut the stock mod off the barrel. The buckrail mod Worked fantastic on the short barrel.. it's odd i used a donny FL tanto and tried a Airmaks mod 40 on it. Both of which sounded like gunshots. where as the cheap buckrail mod made it quiet, but, not "evade Karen McCalltheCops" quiet. Id suggest a typical baffle moderator with a sizable blast chamber... the same Tanto absolutely cut the noise of a dreamline .25 @ 55fpe, Katran .177 shooting mk3s at 1000fps, and a LOUD unshrouded hatsan at44 shooting 13's at 950... when 6gun says Counterintuitive, it is. The stock notos barrel is GREAT. I know you probably want speed, but, i'd reccomend maximizing the energy available in the stock form. Use 18-21gr, yeah,, they'll be a bit slow. but, I've killed squirrels at 65y with the stock notos and Baracuda 18s' NO problem whatsoever. If you're truly trying to draw as little attention as possible, i'd buy a moderator extension for the stock mod, or a LARGE dedicated (expensive as well) .22 moderator like a Sarissa or Shogun. The stock barrel with teh C88 plenum kit and mod adapter will suffer zero droop with a heavy mod.

I had a notos i sold a long time ago shooting 17gr LDC slugs at 896fps. i went from stock, 380fx- 500fx- 600fx. Fully ported, springs polished, lighter valve spring, heavier hammer and hammer spring. The works. I'll be doing minimal modification of the notos i plan to buy this week.

You'll get it quieter but maybe not as quiet as stock. If you what it even more quiet than stock, without having to change the barrel, Bravo3D has slip on moderators, which basically its just mounted on top of the stock one.

Ill leave a pick of how mine looks so far, I'm in the process of upgrading the stock tank to be a stock double tank, but I'm having issues with feeding. Ill show you a photo after I get it running.

Ok gong to stick to the stock barrel basically because of sound. I live in the unincorporated part of Pismo Beach but I do have neighbors and frankly I just don't like attention. I did buy the Deci-ball from Terminator Industries have yet to try it out claims to be -15dec I figure that's not the case half that would be cool.

I haven't tried the decimal, not a fan of the shape, and looks makes it look goofy imo, but if it helps with sound and your needs that's what matters

Yeah it looks super lame shinny as hell too. I'm just looking for a nice easy moderator to install and I'm just hoping it works 1/2 as good as they clain it does lol. I'll install it tonight or tomorrow.
Let us know how it works out, ill send you a video of a stock notos with that slip on and mine with cnc made silencer with a fx 500mm barrel on sunday.

I found the decibal, along with every item I bought terminidor to be junk. The best mod I have found for the Notos is the Can Can from Bravo3d. The Can Can is ugly, but the notos is a barky little gun that isn't easy to get really quiet. I noticed Bravo3d has a new round slip on, so I ordered one to try out, gives me a reason to pull out my Notos.
