They were 20 yard shots."Ginuwine1969"Nice job, ranges look lol pretty close 40 yards and less? What kinda rifle did you use?
Thanks I did get 2 bottles of the recommended FP-10 lube."JimNM"That is a good video, thanks for sharing. Your Marmot Millitia barrel will shoot better with lightly lube pellets. It took me almost a month to go back to read the installation directions. Don't forget to put the muzzle break on the new barrel.. it pulls off the stock barrel with light pressure.
"glassman"Nice shooting, however it appeared that you shot a couple mourning doves. They are protected by the migratory bird treaty act. There are some fairly significant penalties for violating the act. You may want to look into this before you shoot just any bird, make a video of the shooting and post it in a public forum. People have been charged and prosecuted for criminal wrong doing based upon their publicly posting pictures and or video of their wrong doing. Not only that but it can give the wrong impression to people in the general public that "air gunners" are negligent knuckleheads that will blast away and shoot at anything they can reach with their air gun. IMO being a responsible hunter / shooter not only requires safe shooting practices but also knowledge about what you are shooting and whether the animal you are shooting is legal to shoot.
Glass
Glassman - which bird did you think was a mourning dove? I watched the whole video and saw only pigeons.
Scott
Every one of those birds shot by the OP was a European Rock Dove (aka, pigeon, aka, rat with wings, aka invasive PITA city bird). What ones are you calling mourning doves? If one of the back lit ones, look at the beak crown. It has a white crest on top. That's a rock dove. No mistake."glassman"Nice shooting, however it appeared that you shot a couple mourning doves.
