On 910 AGTR website I checked the 1.2” Power Plenum and read the following note : *NOTE - NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NEWER WILDCAT MK3 WITH EXTENDED TUBE CONNECTOR*

what does this mean ? 
What or where is the extended tube connector on a WC MK3 ?

i think it means that if you do the plenum and the tube extension, the tube becomes too long - longer than the barrel - and interferes with the LDC most people put on the end.

Thanks Wimpanzee but would it then not be logical that this restriction was also mentioned with the 2,5” power plenum . As this gives the same total length in combination with each other. This is not the case though. You could be right but I am not 100% sure yet what is meant.

The problem is because closes the hole for adjustment regulator with barrel band...

Well ..when installed on my WC MK3 this smaller PP 1.2” does not close the adjustment hole with barrel band . ( in contrast with a DL power plenum)

FX changed the cylinder end cap. It has a attached plenum spacer that prevents it from threading all the way into the after market plenums from 910 airguns. If you have access to a lathe you can make them work. You have to cut the plenum spacer off the end cap then make a spacer to go between the regulator and the plenum extension to keep the regulator in place so you can still adjust externally.

Wow... That is a surprise ! Thanks mr Grimm . This would mean that also the 2.5” PP from Ernest Rowe has the same problem right ?

why would FX have done this ? Less parts as they got rid of the silver colored seperate spacer now ? ( do I see this correct )

Or are they just trying to block third party business with this move ?

Not sure why FX made the change. I was able to make modifications to make my plenum extension work. I contacted 910 airguns about this and the are in the works designing a new plenum extension that works with the newer MK3.

I may be missing something, but I installed the 2.5" plenum extension from 910 Airguns on my WC MK3 Sniper with no problem. My reg adjustment screw is exposed, The extension threaded all the way up. I am not experiencing any leaks or other issues. I'm still fine tuning, but overall performance is great.

It will fit the first batch of Mk3s without issue. My MK3 is from their latest shipment. Received my MK3 on August 13th.

It is clear that FX found a reason to change that end cap / spacer construction. By itself it is a clever idea but sucks for 910 airgun repair I think. They have to reconstruct the PP with or without Ernest Rowe who had put quit a bit of time in its development . Ernest Rowe is a FX related guy as far as I know so most probably we do not get the real story behind this . Anyway it is good for us , on this forum , to know what to order and what not to order and what is new according to our findings on this forum .

Mr Grimm, I don’t know what the length of that new FX WC MK3 endcap is (including the spacer part attached) but I doubt that that will fit into the 1.2” PP . It has to be screwn in right ? Do you have an idea if that would still fit size wise or that the new PP must have longer tubing

I have the 1.2 and 2.5 plenums from 910 and it it fits both the same. The plenums are not threaded deep enough for the new style end cap. Also the plenums do not go deep enough into the air cylinder to keep the regulator in the correct position to access the adjustment screw. Not sure what the overall length of the end cap is. My gun is back together so I can't measure it. I cut the spacer part off my end cap and installed a spacer between the regulator and the power plenum extension. The spacer was just a little over 3/8".

all clear. Will not be easy one to make new version of the PP .Should be longer anyway I think .... Happy to still have the “old” one fitting well.

This is disappointing, as I have a PP waiting to be installed here. I wonder if the huma reg and spacer would allow it work since it doesn't need to line up with the adjustment hole. Or maybe its still an issue with the thread depth.

Any word on the Mk3 plenum? I think UA has a kit with huma regulator and plenum for mk3 for $120

Who is making the power plenums for Talon Tunes? Looks like he has figured out how to add it to the MK3 compact. I wonder when they will be back in stock?
