Not two footers but.......

........good size varmints for sure. I got these four males this morning at my daughters place in town. Was replacing a kitchen faucet while looking out the window for expected action. She was glad to be rid of that obnoxious short tail punk. Two head shot, one neck and a lung hit. All pretty much stayed put where hit with little movement. I opted to use my other 34 .22 with open sights, all shots off hand 35 - 50 feet max. Crosman 14.3 gr. are accurate in this gun.

Two on the ground, two in the trees.

Thankfully, my mid 60's eyesight is still sharp. No corrective lenses needed....yet. I really prefer the scoped 34, too. But the open sights are capable of excellent accuracy also. I just might not scope that older 34 after all.

Bruce54...those four tree rats have been consumed already via natural recycling, they were all gone this morning at first light.

For sometime now I have placed them 100 yards out from the house in the p-dog town near a fence post. At early evening or night red foxes take them away. I see them run off with a squirrel dinner often.
