Max, Same here, they seem to be flocking out in the fields occasionally . They no longer hit the bunker silos as before. I'm popping sparrows mostly now.

All my HOSPS disappeared a week or so ago.
This morning not quite light out yet, the sparrow hawk few 20’ over my head.

Won’t be any HOSPS for a while.

@Contndr35BB. Yes, not many starlings at the Pigeons farm but I hit jackpot at the "Starlings" farm recently. Video to follow with 99 starlings in one morning session.

@dgeesaman. Yes they get smarter just like the crows, but the juvenile are still pretty dumb.

They have created a "no-fly" zone at my place here in Central California. The dairy a couple of miles is an easier target for them.

Grackles have replaced the starlings here now , the lawn had a flock land on it this morning. They've hit the grain fields lately. They are not a" legal pest" bird in PA though. BUT , they can decimate an oats field or a sweet corn patch once they find them !
